Startup To Watch: Atlanta’s HackerHouse started by turning an old fraternity house into a home for student entrepreneurs. Now, a former Midtown nightclub is home to 50 startup founders. Next up? Rethinking the career fair. The team is bringing more than 30 startups to Georgia Tech on October 13 for Not A Career Fair, where résumés get reviewed in advance, interviews get booked, and companies are encouraged to make offers on the spot. City News: Chattanooga got a head start on gig-speed internet. Now it wants one on quantum. The city’s municipal utility is giving startups and established companies access to quantum hardware to test real business problems, with city leaders pointing to a projected $1.1 billion in regional economic output by 2035.
