Atlanta’s Women on the Cap Table Makes First Investment in AI Startup Narratize
ATLANTA, October 1 (Hypepotamus) - Women on the Cap Table (WCT), an angel investing group launched this spring in Atlanta, has written its first check.
The organization is first investing into Cincinnati-based Narratize, an AI-native product and portfolio intelligence platform designed to bring product intelligence to every stage of new product development. WCT was part of a larger round led by San Francisco-based Astia and Atlanta-based Silicon Road Ventures.

Product Opportunities, Startup Opportunities
Narratize’s CEO Katie Taylor, who previously worked at OpenAI and Boeing, said that the startup idea came to her after a “simple observation” around how product teams work.
“Technical experts and product teams had enormous amounts of valuable knowledge, but it was fragmented across documents, systems, and people's heads. We initially focused on helping innovators communicate that knowledge more effectively,” she told Hypepotamus. “As AI matured and customers pulled us deeper into their workflows, it became clear that the bigger problem was knowledge orchestration: capturing, structuring, governing, and activating product and expert knowledge so humans and AI agents can use it reliably.”
About The Fundraise
Narratize has raised $7.8 million in venture capital, according to Crunchbase.
For WCT's co-founder Jane McCracken, it was not just Taylor’s passion for the business that caught the attention of the Atlanta-based angel group’s members.

“Every entrepreneur speaks passionately about their company, but our members saw more than conviction in the Narratize team. They recognized a significant market opportunity and a solution that addresses a real challenge faced by large organizations,” McCracken added. “Narratize is transforming how enterprises develop new products through its AI-native system of intelligence, helping cross-functional teams turn fragmented knowledge into faster, smarter innovation. Many of our members come from corporate leadership backgrounds and immediately understood the pain points Narratize is solving and the potential impact of its platform.”
McCracken added that deal flow into the organization has been “exceptionally strong,” and that “what makes WCT unique is that our value extends well beyond financial capital.”
WCT members bring “leadership experience, industry expertise, strategic insights, and influential networks,” she added.
Since launching in March of this year, WCT has grown to more than 60 members. This month at Venture Atlanta, WCT will participate in the investment syndicate providing $475,000 to the company selected through the conference’s Startup Showcase.
WCT is one of two female-focused angel investment groups that launched recently in Atlanta. The other TBH Angels.
